    Great coffee but terrible service. On a cafe strip you must be on your game. Cafe Gelato isn't. If you are open for business, be open for business. Closing time is at 9:pm, don't start switching off the lights at 7:45 with three customers still sitting drinking the coffee. I can say more but I think you get it.

    The staff at this place is so kind and generous, always there for their customers. They even gave me free coffee for my birthday and their bakery is always fresh and warm, and they have yummy ice cream for the kids!. This is the best cafe to hangout in Victoria Park, I would not go too anywhere else and encourage everyone new to the area to visit Cafe Gelato and enjoy your coffee.

    The ham and cheese croissant had barely any cheese in it, it was pretty much a plain croissant with a single slice of ham.
    They didn’t even bring our coffee to us when we were dining in.
    Definitely not worth checking out especially when there so many other great cafes in the area.

    I recently went to purchase a special deal that was advertised (being a coffee and wrap for $10). I asked if I could exchange the coffee for a hot chocolate, and if this would incur any different costs. The cashier advised me it would make the price “a few cents more” - I was happy with this, and assumed it would be 50c extra for my request, despite hot chocolates being around 30c less than a coffee. However when it came to paying, that ‘few cents’ was actually $3… unfortunately I didn’t notice this until I check my bank notifications, however I thought I would share my experience with deceptive behaviour.

    Hot chocolate was nice. Wrap, not so much…
